Going Above and Beyond
We’re proud to share a heartfelt compliment from Tulsa Life Flight about EMSA District Chief Jacob Harrington.
When a Life Flight crew needed extra equipment for a critically ill patient, Jacob stepped in without hesitation.
“This demonstrated not only a clinical awareness, but a deep commitment to doing the right thing, event when it goes beyond your agency’s immediate responsibilities. He represents your department with excellence and integrity, and we are extremely grateful for his willingness to assist our flight team.”
Jacob, thank you for representing EMSA well and for going above and beyond for any patient.
Double Celebration
During graduation for EMSA’s in-house Paramedic program, EMTs Avery Cook and Mary Walton were honored for their incredible life-saving actions.
Mary, a former EMSA dispatcher, helped save two lives from cardiac arrest and delivered a baby—all while working in the Tulsa Communication Center!
Avery, while completing a clinical rotation, responded to a cardiac arrest and helped save the patient’s life.
Congratulations to both on graduating from a tough program and for making a real difference in the lives of patients!
