Teamwork in Action!
EMSA Paramedic Chloe Mahathey and EMT Ryan Welsh responded to a cardiac arrest call where firefighters with the Oklahoma City Fire Department were already performing CPR. Together, they helped the patient regain consciousness before reaching the hospital.
For their life-saving efforts, Chloe and Ryan earned a ROSC pin—Chloe’s first!
This is what happens when first responders work together.
Bystander CPR leads to another life saved!
EMSA Paramedic Kaleb Hodges and EMT Timothy Schoenborn responded to a cardiac arrest call where bystanders had already started CPR.
Thanks to the immediate action of bystanders and the crew’s skills, the patient’s heart started beating again on its own.
This marked Kaleb and Timothy’s first cardiac saves of their EMS careers. Well done!
